The School



The B D Dube Inter College was originally established as English medium high school by Shri Bhagwan Din Dube on his birthday in 1942. It was the only good school in this region .First principal of this school was Shri Ram Anjor Mishra. For this school Shri B D Dube spent lots of money because he wanted to give good education and all the facilities to the students. Keeping this in mind he created class rooms, very big play ground, science labs, library, agriculture land, music rooms etc and residence for principal and teachers and hostel for the students. He also appointed very good teachers and staff to facilitate studies. We are proud to have such a great institute in our village. Since 1942 people of this region has been benefited by this school. The school was and is, to date, also used as a place of social and cultural gatherings.Dube family has all along been the most sincere care taker of the college. The last wish of Mrs Dilraji Devi Dube was to donate her golden bangles for scholership to the deserving students.Similarely Mrs Vibha Dube donated a cultural room in the memorey of her husband Dr K P Dube and Miss Madhu Mishra donated a library hall to the college in the memorey of her father Shree Shree Gopal Mishra.Mrs Neelam Mishra founded Shiv Savitry English Club to improve the communication skills amongst the students.

Statue of Pt. B D Dube



In the premises of the College the life size marble statue of Pandit B D Dube is a great attraction for the new comers and the staff and the students of the college. The family of Shri B D Dube is emotionally committed to the cause and development of this college. When request for installing a statue of Shri Dube came from the staff of the College and people of Paharpur village, Mrs Neelam Mishra,grand daughter of Shri B D Dube promptly donated this excellently carved full size Makarana marble statue to the college. The people of the area, the teachers,staff and the students of the College donated generously for the construction of the canopy over the statue.

The founders day celebrations



The birthday of Pt. B D Dube is celebrated as the school's founder's day with great pomp and show every year. Though the school celebrates many functions but founder's day has special meaning to the people of the area as it revives the memories of their respected forebear. This is celebrated on 13th day of moonlit fortnight of Bhadrapad i.e. birth date of Pandit Bhagwan Din Dube the founder of this college. The main high light of this function have always been the depiction of Shri B D Dube's life and achievements. This celebration comes off as a great model of a great man for the students and the younger generation to emulate .This function is extremely popular amongst the local population across all strata of the society.
