The B D Dube House
The house was built in the year 1920 as a farm house and a village retreat for the family members living in Rangoon.
This beautiful house of Paharpur was initially designed as a farm house because family of Shri B D dube i.e. his wife Mrs Dilraji Dube, three sons and three daughters stayed with him in Rangoon. When Shri Bhagwan Din Dube came to village to meet his parents and brother he stayed in this house. This house had all modern amenities of that time like running water from a overhead tank which is still functional. Western style toilet with tiled walls and floors. Today his eldest daughter in law Mrs Savitri Dube W/0 Late Shri Shiv Prasad Dube, and her son Shri Naveen Kumar Dube with his family are staying in this house. Though it is old but it still looks grand.
The house was also ment to be a place of family get to-gethers and weddings.
The Swiss wife of Pt. B D Dube whom he affecionately called Pia Dube also is known to have spent some time here.Mrs Dilraji Dube permanently shifted to this house from Rangoon in 1945.
